DeNami Blog Birthday Challenge

Hi everyone! Happy birthday to you, whenever that special day is! The new challenge at the DeNami Blog is all about birthdays, which is super fun because I LOVE getting my friends and family birthday presents, or taking them out for their birthday, or doing something special for them. You can never have too many birthday cards, right?

This card is pretty versatile and could work for a number of different occasions by simply changing the word stamp (DeNami offers a lot of great circle word stamps) or customize by changing the color scheme. This is one of my favorite go-to card layouts for that very reason.

It's hard to see in the image but I used a hot pink rhinestone for the cherry on top of the stamped cupcake. Yum!

Have a wonderful weekend!

DeNami August Featured Product - Apple Basket

Hi everyone!

Did you have as much fun as I did doing the DeNami Polka Dot Blog Hop? (Is it just me, or does that sound a little like a 1950's high school dance?) I LOVED "hopping" from blog to blog, seeing all the cute polka-dot cards and reading ALL the sweet comments! Congratulations to the winners; I am looking forward to the next hop in September!

There's always something cool and new at the DeNami Blog, and right on the heels of the blog hop is this month's featured product (and one of my personal favorites): the Apple Basket! This super cute stamp was one of the first stamps I used in the new collection and I had a hard time putting it down. So it wasn't much of a challenge to convince me to pick it back up for this month's featured product. I love coloring and glittering the apples soooo much!

I was very inspired by (read: "totally copied") Paulina's genius glitter technique using the Three Line Border in a criss-cross pattern to create your own sparkling plaid background. Stamp it, glitter with your glue pen and Sparklets glitter, and voila! So pretty. I used our rich Bronze Sparklets Glitter for the background. The easy-to-use Polka Dot Background is another go-to stamp for a cute and quick background. I used the Citrone Sparklets Glitter on the yellow and green apples, and the Magenta Sparklets Glitter on the red apples.

Hope you enjoy the card, the stamp, and all the other ideas by our fabulous design team at the DeNami blog!

DeNami Product Challenge - Sparkling Pears Card

Hi Everyone!

The new DeNami stamps have been out for about a month now, so I hope everyone has been able to browse the new collection. When I first got to try out all the new stamps, this sweet pear stamp was the FIRST one I reached for. I love fruit-themed stamps and papers, and this pear is a perfect size and shape for so many cute card designs. (For more cards with this beautiful stamp, go here or here or here.) I could have colored and glittered these pears all day, and I just love using the Citrone Sparklets Glitter with these pears now. I'm not usually into yellow, but these golden pears are just perfect.

Hope you all are having a "sweet" summer!
