DeNami Christmas Challenge!
YAY! Christmas!! No, it's not too early to talk about it! I love Christmas and I always will. Having young children of my own has just increased the joy of Christmas for me. I love Christmas shopping, Christmas music (any time of the year, so there!), Christmas cookies (or any holiday-related food!), Christmas parties.... and best of all, the time we remember the birth of Jesus, our Savior. For me it's so important to take time to remember the reason we have life, since life keeps me so busy most of the time I barely have time to think!
ANYWAY, it's challenge time again at the DeNami Blog! Let me tell you, it really was a challenge for me this time. It was almost impossible to simply narrow down which Christmas stamps I wanted to use. If you've ever browsed the huge Christmas stamp collection DeNami has to offer, you know what I'm talking about! In the end, I picked some versatile background stamps and paired them with the extremely beautiful Holly Cluster. I confess I picked it mostly because I wanted to make ruby red rhinestone holly berries. *Happy sigh*
I hope this helps inspire you to join the challenge and maybe even to start your Christmas shopping early!

DeNami October Featured Product - Cornstalks
Hi friends!
What do you think of when you see cornstalks? Corn mazes and pumpkin patches? The scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz ? (If so, check out DeNami's super cute new scarecrow stamp!) Pilgrims, Indians, and the first Thanksgiving? I think of my grandpa's garden patch. He's 95 and still tends his garden, which includes a little pumpkin patch for the great-grandkids to visit and pick out a pumpkin each year for Halloween.
Why, you ask, am I rambling about cornstalks? Well, the October Featured Product at the DeNami Blog is one of our newest stamps, J137 Cornstalks. When I first tried it out, I wasn't sure how I would use them. But I was pleasantly surprise to find myself using this pretty stamp on a lot of cards. The beautiful lines of the stamp are so fun to color, and make both a great centerpiece stamp and and elegant background stamp. I hope you'll discover the hidden beauty of this stamp along with me and the rest of the DeNami Design Team as we bring you October's Featured Product!
For this card, I used a few different harvest themed stamps from DeNami Design. I love love love using the Citrone glitter on both the pumpkins and the corn (sorry it doesn't show up too well on the scan, but just imagine all the golden sparkly goodness). I also used a ribbon ruffle technique. (Easy stuff: just use your favorite double-stick adhesive tape and pinch and pleat your ribbon as desired. Visit the DeNami YouTube page to see a similar technique.)
I hope you all enjoy the bountiful harvest of creative ideas!

DeNami Cuddly Critters Blog Hop
**NOTE: THIS IS MY SECOND POST TODAY. SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THE FIRST POST.**
Welcome to the 2nd DeNami Blog Hop! The last one was super fun, and this one is even more special as we opened it up to YOU! That's right, several of our dear DeNami followers are joining us on this super cute Cuddly Critters Blog Hop, and you won't want to miss a single stop! (Most of you probably came from Angela's blog.) Don't forget to leave comments everywhere you go for a chance to win a prize!
For my submission, I was inspired by my toddler's favorite lovey: Lambie. Jolee takes her lambie wherever she goes. It was one of her first words (usually said with passion: "LamMIE!"). Her middle name, Rachel, means "little lamb." So I am very, very fond of the Sideview Sheep stamp from DeNami, especially when paired with the Fun Fluff. This little lamb is definitely a cuddly critter (and so is my toddler, by the way! She loves snuggles!).
NEXT STOP on the BLOG HOP: The beautiful, the radiant, the incredibly sweet and talented.... PAULINA!
Have fun hoppin'! (And don't worry, if you get lost along the way, you can always go back to the DeNami Blog and start at the beginning again!)
Little Lamb Baby Card Supplies
Mini Polka Dot, Small Side-view Sheep, Lord is my Shepherd, Baby Circle
Pink and aqua cardstocks
DeNami cardstocks: white, sky blue, chocolate brown
Inks: Vintage Sepia Versafine, Pearlescent Orchid Brilliance, Pearlescent Sky Blue Brilliance
Crystal Lacquer
Fun Fluff
Punches: 1" Circle, 1½" Scallop Circle, 2" Scallop Circle

Hey everyone!
It's that time again.... time for a new Featured Product at the DeNami Blog! I think it's so fun to see all the different ways our fabulous design team uses the same stamp. This card uses some simple stamping and layering, but I hope it shows off the incredible cuteness of the stamps. Enjoy!

DeNami Color Challenge #4!
Hi friends!
I was really inspired by Michele's Color Challenge this time around at the DeNami Blog. The bold colors were so satisfying to work with, and I used one of my favorite go-to stamps, the Decorative Crest. Onyx and magenta glitters paired with hot pink rhinestones made this a bling-tastic card! You could easily customize with your favorite trio of colors, but for now, I hope you all will try your hand at the beautiful Color Challenge going on now at the DeNami Blog. This time there's a really great prize... a pack of Boutique Buttons and a sampling of our new stamps from the (first ever) Halloween collection! No scary stuff here, just charming, whimsical stamps to make you smile.
(If you love the new Halloween stamps, you have to check out a brand new product by DeNami Design, the Halloween Card Kit. It includes enough pre-cut supplies and select embellishments to create ten cards in five different designs. Check it out! And we plan to offer more kits in the future, so stay tuned!)

DeNami Blog Birthday Challenge
Hi everyone! Happy birthday to you, whenever that special day is! The new challenge at the DeNami Blog is all about birthdays, which is super fun because I LOVE getting my friends and family birthday presents, or taking them out for their birthday, or doing something special for them. You can never have too many birthday cards, right?
This card is pretty versatile and could work for a number of different occasions by simply changing the word stamp (DeNami offers a lot of great circle word stamps) or customize by changing the color scheme. This is one of my favorite go-to card layouts for that very reason.
It's hard to see in the image but I used a hot pink rhinestone for the cherry on top of the stamped cupcake. Yum!
Have a wonderful weekend!
