DeNami August Featured Product - Apple Basket

Hi everyone!

Did you have as much fun as I did doing the DeNami Polka Dot Blog Hop? (Is it just me, or does that sound a little like a 1950's high school dance?) I LOVED "hopping" from blog to blog, seeing all the cute polka-dot cards and reading ALL the sweet comments! Congratulations to the winners; I am looking forward to the next hop in September!

There's always something cool and new at the DeNami Blog, and right on the heels of the blog hop is this month's featured product (and one of my personal favorites): the Apple Basket! This super cute stamp was one of the first stamps I used in the new collection and I had a hard time putting it down. So it wasn't much of a challenge to convince me to pick it back up for this month's featured product. I love coloring and glittering the apples soooo much!

I was very inspired by (read: "totally copied") Paulina's genius glitter technique using the Three Line Border in a criss-cross pattern to create your own sparkling plaid background. Stamp it, glitter with your glue pen and Sparklets glitter, and voila! So pretty. I used our rich Bronze Sparklets Glitter for the background. The easy-to-use Polka Dot Background is another go-to stamp for a cute and quick background. I used the Citrone Sparklets Glitter on the yellow and green apples, and the Magenta Sparklets Glitter on the red apples.

Hope you enjoy the card, the stamp, and all the other ideas by our fabulous design team at the DeNami blog!

  2. Perfectly fine to be inspired by Paulina! Love the background, and how you left the apple basket be the center of attention.
